Valentines Day 2012

It is amazing the smile a beautiful rose will bring.
And my face was all smiles when my boys surprised me with 2 beautiful mini rose bushes a few days before Valentine's Day.

White roses from Andrew

and this little red one was from the Buddy Bee.

I am very thankful for my 2 boys and  even more thankful that I get the privilege to love them both.

Valentine's Day morning was like every morning at the Park house;
Andrew gets up early to run and get ready for work, I attempt to get up before the Buddy Bee so, I can be all ready for the day, and once Buddy Bee gets up Mommy and Buddy Bee snuggle before breakfast.

My valentine Bee.

Buddy Bee rocking it 80's style.

Buddy Bee dancing to the oldies in his head.

Buddy Bee was not in the mood to snuggle with Mommy...
he was in the mood to move so, we headed out to get breakfast.

While Mommy worked on Buddy Bee's scrambled eggs Buddy Bee played on the floor with Hannah.

Buddy Bee LOVES sliding over Hannah...

...and Hannah just continues to take her mid- morning nap.

After breakfast we had a very special Valentine's present to work on for Daddy.
Buddy Bee and Mommy were going to make Daddy some special Chocolate Chip cookies because we love him very much!

Buddy Bee wanted to watch Mommy mix the ingredients so, Mommy pulled up a chair for the little Bee.

Then we filled up the sink for some splash time.

Buddy Bee trying to drink from the sink.

I am really not sure how the cookies were completed because all I wanted to do was watch this cutie play in the sink.

Buddy Bee was getting soaked and he was really interested in Mommy's apron so we improvised and made one for the  Buddy Bee.

Buddy Bee LOVED "helping" Mommy make Daddy's cookies.

And Mommy LOVED that it kept Buddy Bee busy for a long time!

Buddy Bee was the official taste tester.
(Don't worry it's only brown sugar not the raw cookie dough)

The Valentine's Day cookie team.

After cookie making and some cookie sampling Mommy started on preparations for Mommy and Daddy's Date Night.
Andrew and I planned on celebrating Valentine's Day with our little Buddy Bee until he went to bed and then have a very special Valentine's dinner...ALONE!

Our table all set for only two!

While I was working on dinner Buddy Bee worked on a picture for Daddy.

Drawing Daddy a Valentine's picture.

My sweet, handsome little boy!

If Buddy Bee has his blankie he can make anywhere a place to rest.

Not sure why this little boy was so tired because he just got up from his afternoon nap.

Our Valentine's Day dinner menu:
Apple Garlic Pork Roast
Spinach and Cheese Mashed Potatoes
Steamed Peas
and for dessert
Chocolate Chip Cookies

When Andrew arrived home from work and after all our 'Welcome Home Daddy" kisses we had a very special present for the Buddy Bee.

Buddy Bee loved his rocking horse but after almost tipping it over and slamming his head on the toy box it was time to upgrade.
We had already gotten this Little Tikes Rockin' Puppy  for our Buddy Bee so we safely hide it in the garage until Valentines Day.

Helping Daddy assemble his Valentines Day gift.

Very intense fist bump from Buddy Bee.

Having the time of his life!

Then he started standing up...

Mommy and my little Bee.

Buddy Bee could not even stop rocking for pictures with Mommy.

Valentine's Day Family Picture.

After prying Buddy Bee from his new rocking puppy we had a very special treat in store for him....

Buddy Bee got to eat his dinner in the living room watching Thomas the Tank Engine!

Buddy Bee had a fabulous dinner and celebrated with a cookie!

It was soon time for our Buddy Bee to head to bed so, we said our good nights and I had the privelege of rocking and singing with my boy until he was ready to get tucked  into bed.
Mommy no longer gets kisses at bedtime, she gets fist bumps from Buddy Bee.

By the time Buddy Bee gave his final fist bump to Mommy, Andrew had dinner all set out and the candles lit for our romantic Valentine's dinner date.

Valentine's Day cards from each other and the Buddy Bee.

My handsome Valentine's date!

We had a wonderful dinner date and the next morning this sweet face with his wild hair greeted us.

Happy Valentine's Day from this little cutie!
