Sesame Place

We said good-bye to Thomas the day before, had a great adventure overnight at a hotel, and welcomed the new day with excitement.  Today, Buddy Bee would experience his first amusement park...today Buddy Bee goes to SESAME PLACE!

He was excited!

What a neat view of the park from our hotel room.

He even wore his Elmo shirt!

We arrived before the park even opened!

The excitement on his face!

I stood in tears as the park opened with the national anthem.  Our national anthem takes on a whole new meaning after a deployment.  So many people don't understand those tears....

Our family participated in Bush Garden's Waves of Honor program.  We couldn't be more thankful for companies that honor and support their military families.

Getting into the Waves of Honor line!

Grover!

His first ride!

Of course, Buddy Bee would choose the roller costar for his first ride!

No fear with that child.

The report back from Daddy was that the Bee LOVED every second!

Our trip to Sesame Place was in the fall so the park was decorated in Halloween decor.

I loved the landscaping and the creativity!

I was thrilled I could share a personal favorite with my Buddy Bee.

We were having a blast!

Buddy Bee got up there and froze....he was not thrilled with this experience with Daddy.  Poor Daddy had to talk the child back down!

The foam blocks were right up Buddy Bee's alley!

Buddy Bee was not a fan of the giant bouncing pillow....

Until he realized that it is actually fun to bounce.

Buddy Bee chose the Cat.

We had a very tired boy by the afternoon.

Says it all...

It was definitely time to say our goodbyes.  And someone desperately needed a nap!

We had a fabulous time at Sesame Place!
These last two days have been a perfect way to welcome home Daddy from his second deployment!
