Picking Berries with Oma.

No better way to spend a morning than to pick blueberries!
Buddy Bee and I picked up Oma and we headed over to the blueberry patch.
It was a perfect morning.

Berry bushes full of delicious berries.

Hats off to the Buddy Bee.

My little boy is growing up.

The days of using an infant carrier have come to an end.  The Buddy Bee may not have surpassed the weight limit on the infant car seat but he has passed the height limit.

There will be no turning the car seat forward milestone for the Buddy Bee this year as the American Academy of Pediatrics has recently changed the car seat guidelines.  So, the Buddy Bee will have to ride backwards, not that he seems to mind it, for awhile longer.

Buddy Bee and I scored a great deal on a 3-in-1 convertible car seat but before we installed it he wanted to play with his toys!

Our silly little buddy bee won't wear an actual hat but will wear his toy as one.

Outside we go to install the new Buddy Bee ride!

Last time in his infant carrier.

Having fun sitting in the driveway while Daddy works.

It's all done and ready for the Buddy Bee.  You can tell someone is excited!

It was just a year ago that Buddy Bee had his first car ride in his infant carrier...

Knoebels

Our little family has been looking forward to this past Saturday since March!
Andrew's work took the company and their families to Knoebels Amusement Resort for the day.
This was Buddy Bee's first trip to an amusement park.

Buddy Bee's hat stayed on just about as long as it took for me to take this picture!

Buddy Bee needed to eat lunch before we rode any rides.
We had just arrived and already we were way too hot!
The high at Knoebels for the day was 94 degrees!

Buddy Bee's first train ride!

Arriving back at the station.

Buddy Bee's first Carousel ride with Mommy!

He loved the first ride so Daddy took him again.

Our little "talker" was very quiet during the rides.
We are guessing there was just too much to take in.

Time to cool off in the pool!

Buddy Bee perked right up once he got in the water and cooled off!

Splashing with Daddy.

Buddy Bee was not a fan of the bouncy seat.

Swimming with Daddy.

You have to love Buddy Bee's cloth swim diaper speedo!

And his shark swim shoes!

 Riding the frog.

After swimming Buddy Bee was in need of a nap.
We packed everything up and headed back to the car to drive the little man around before the company dinner.
After nap time, we enjoyed a BBQ dinner with Andrew's company.  I enjoyed meeting the people Andrew works with and Buddy Bee made some new friends.  After dinner we were off for some more rides before we headed home!

Riding on the Antique Cars.

Buddy Bee loved the upbeat music!

Waiting for Daddy to bring back our Ice Cream.
Buddy Bee got to try Mommy's peach shake.
He enjoyed using the straw more than the shake.

Waiting in line for our last ride of the day.

Family ride on the train.

Buddy Bee rode with Daddy for the first half and then wanted to sit with Mommy for the second half.

We even saw a family of deer on our ride.

Someone was ready for bed.

We had a fabulous day and look forward to returning when Buddy Bee can ride more rides.
