Ruturn of the Juniper: They Are Gone!

With the end in sight and our motivation to complete this project very high we tackled evening number 3 with the Buddy Bee ready to help.

Watching for Daddy to bring the tractor back up.

But while we waited Buddy Bee took some time for important business....

Throwing rocks!

Soon though the little Bee was off exploring.

However, throwing rocks, exploring, and waiting for Daddy to return is tiring for little Bees.

But at closer inspection the true reason for a still and quiet bee was revealed; he was busy eating dirt.

This blue eyed little boy is going to give me a run for my money because he is ALL boy.

He's a cutie though.

I may never be able to keep up with his little boy but he is sure going to get out of a lot of trouble flashing those blue eyes at me, just like his father.

All thoughts of eating dirt and playing with sticks were forgotten with the sight of Daddy.

I am not sure what brought more excitement, Daddy or the tractor.

Looking back at these pictures; I think the child has cheek fulls of dirt...

Our blue eyed little boy watching his Daddy work.

The first job of the night was to cut down a broken tree limb.

I never knew my husband could climb a tree so fast!
Visions of my future with our little bee flashed before my eyes as my husband climbed that tree.

He looked pretty natural some 15 feet up a tree.

While Daddy worked/played in the tree Buddy Bee watched from the ground.

Andrew returned to the safety of the ground and was soon pulling the branch out of our yard.

While Andrew was dropping off the branch Buddy Bee had a little evergreen parade for himself.

It was finally time to tackle this mess of shrubs we pulled out a few nights before.

As Andrew puts it, "sometimes I have good ideas".....and that he did.

Instead of taking several trips to our now huge burn pile with each of the bushes he decided to take them all at once.

Andrew working on his "train" of bushes.

Linking one shrub to the next, Andrew made a train of 7 bushes that he added to our burn pile.

So very thankful for the use of this tractor and for the gorgeous view.

Andrew's "train" leaving the station.

Quite the brilliant man I married.

And we were left with this soon to be beautiful sight, minus the smaller bush which we had to bring in the "experienced" tractor operator, aka Grampy, to remove.

Flowering shrubs and lilies along with a blue door and star are planned for this space.

As our pile of shrubs grew taller than the tractor our project came to a close just until the trailer full of mulch arrived....
