First Night At The Cabin!

September 1st was moving day for our little family of 3.  We felt so blessed to have so many friends and family come out to help us. Though we really just bribed them with food and Elijah!  We had a crew of  17 people who came to help!

This was it.  We would move the house and stay our first night in our new home! What an amazing feeling to be finally moving.  In the 8 years Andrew and I have have been married we have only moved once so it was  kinda weird to see our house and all our belongings being loaded up into a caravan of vehicles.  But it really does amaze me how much stuff you can collect in 8 years.

My tearful moment was when 14 vehicles started up our quarter mile drive with our first load.  What an amazing sight seeing all those cars and even more amazing feeling that we were finally coming "home".

What a crazy night.  Our moving party started at 5 and by 10 people were starting to head back to their homes.  After putting Buddy Bee to bed,  Andrew and I sat on our couch surrounded by piles of boxes, just amazed that this was our first night in our new home.

Buddy Bee did amazing with the transition.  The most confusing part for the little Bee was the placement of his bedroom door.  In Buddy Bee's old room his bedroom door was located to the right of his crib.  His new door is located to the left of his crib causing a little boy to still stand to the right of  his crib when he woke up in the middle of the night.  It was a sweet sight to see the Bee standing at the side of his crib crying to the wall. By the next morning Buddy Bee figured out where he needed to look for us and was ready to explore his new home!

Good Morning!

A happy little bee in his new home!
