Chocolate Memories

I had 3 large projects to complete before the day of Buddy Bee's party:
   1. Make the Buddy Bee's party favors
 2. Finish the Buddy Bee's scrapbook
3. Decorate the Church for the party

On Thursday and Friday the Buddy Bee and I tackled the chocolate animal favors.
The Buddy Bee's party theme was Noah's Ark so we thought these little animals were just perfect.

We made blue, orange, green, and brown chocolate animals for each guest at the party.

Blue vanilla giraffe and hippo chocolates.

Starting the green vanilla monkey's.

By the time we got to orange Buddy Bee decided he had enough so we moved the task along by making all the animals orange.

Little bags of chocolates waiting for the orange animals to join them.

200 chocolate animals packaged and ready for bows.

Finished chocolate animals for the Buddy Bee's guests to enjoy.

The second project was to complete a very special scrapbook for the Buddy Bee's first year.
This past year I have taken a special monthly photo of the Buddy Bee and have written him a letter each month.  I wanted to create a scrapbook that would include these 2 things along with his monthly 1st calendar.

While the Buddy Bee took his nap I was busy making a huge mess on the living room floor.

Calendar on the right side and the left side for his monthly photo and my letter.

Finished product!

I hope that one day the Buddy Bee will enjoy reading these letters from his mother.

The Buddy Bee also helped Mommy make this yummy fruit tray for the party.
We both enjoyed sampling the fruit as we worked!

Friday night our family of 3 picked up dinner and headed to the church to decorate for the party on Saturday.

Tables all ready for Buddy Bee's guests!

All we needed were the balloons!

Time to get the Birthday boy home...he has a big day tomorrow!
