Buddy Bee Swing Set Part 1

We had a BIG surprise for Buddy Bee on his 3rd birthday.  I should rather say a HUGE surprise.
It came by tractor trailer, weighed in at 1,091 lbs., made from California redwood, arrived in lots of pieces, and required assembly by two very special men.

Let the fun begin!

We purchased our swing set from Kid's Creations and after much debate chose the Circus Deluxe with Monkey Bars.

The extra installation cost was looking more appealing after opening the first box and seeing the hundreds of pieces.  To late now....there was a swing set to assemble for a very special Buddy Bee.

Andrew and Grampy getting started with the first pieces.

Each piece of wood was stamped with a number.  It was just a matter of finding the right piece for each step in the assembly process.

The men got a few pieces assembled the first night and a few days later it was looking like this...

Buddy Bee was the inspector.  He took his job very seriously!

Rock wall almost completed.

He was dying to climb up into his tower.

When not inspecting Buddy Bee's job was carrying around pieces of wood.

Andrew and Grampy starting on the roof.

I will have a perfect view from our dining room window to watch the Bee playing on his swing set.

Working hard until the sun began to set.

He was very serious about what he wanted completed next.

We ended for the night and would return the next night.
