Christmas Morning at the Cabin 2012

Christmas morning I woke up to a light dusting of snow along with an amazing pink sunrise. I stood out on our porch wishing my husband was beside me.

What a beautiful Christmas morning at our cabin on the hill.

Andrew (via skype) and I continued our tradition of waking up our Buddy Bee together. Buddy Bee was in utter amazement with his train set assembled around the Christmas tree.

It was worth the late night putting it together to see his little face all smiles.

Grampy joined us for our Christmas morning celebration.

We pulled Buddy Bee away from his train long enough to open up his stockings.

Driving his new trucks on the train tracks.

Every train conductor has to have his own whistle.

Buddy Bee's very own police car.

And an even cooler helicopter.

Buddy Bee's first remote control car.

3 new movies!

Buddy Bee spent a lot of time showing Daddy his new toys.

Besides his huge train set we knew that this gift would be his favorite.

Buddy Bee is obsessed with Fire Trucks!

The Park family Christmas morning 2012

Lots and lots of books!

I will always remember this Christmas for the bittersweet memories we made with our love who is deployed across the world.  In all the years the military has separated us, we have never been apart for Christmas.
