The potty training adventure begins for the Buddy Bee on a beautiful and sunny spring day.
Not sure if either of us is ready but here we come.
There was no turning back once he put these training pants on.
Buddy Bee was oblivious to Mommy's mission.
All he cared about was digging in the dirt and running naked through the yard.
Potty Training Lesson #1: Kneeling in front of a little boy using the potty will result in you becoming wet. Victory dance for the Buddy Bee and change of clothes for a wet Mommy.
Potty Training Lesson #2: Bribing works wonders. He did it! He did it on the first day! He pooped on the potty! Buddy Bee was so proud and Mommy cried. The next day Buddy Bee was the proud new owner of a white tractor trailer just as Mommy promised.
By day four Buddy Bee was over this new adventure, so we needed a trip to the pond to keep him distracted.
Potty Training Lesson #3: Don't make the "go on the potty" treats Mommy's favorite candy...
And the ultimate Potty Training Lesson learned was this....
Just when you want to give up is when they start to get it.
