Buddy Bee Hauling Coal

Buddy Bee loves helping his Daddy.
So, when Andrew headed out to haul  coal the other day Buddy Bee wanted to go too.
Our Buddy Bee is growing up and lately has been learning more about sharing and following directions.
I was busy getting dinner ready but when I saw this sight I grabbed the camera and headed out to the porch to capture our Buddy Bee helping Daddy haul coal.
It was all Andrew's idea.  As the boys headed outside Andrew had grabbed an old Easter bucket for Buddy Bee to haul his own coal.
The joy on Buddy Bee's face was priceless.  He looked so proud that he was helping Daddy.

Buddy Bee loved helping.  He carried that bucket all the way inside and with Daddy's help dumped it in our coal bin.
A couple days later I headed out to watch (and haul coal myself) Buddy Bee in action.
As soon as he was handed his bucket he was off and running to the coal pile.

He was so excited...if only we could keep this excitement for hauling coal through his teen years!

Andrew filling Buddy Bee's bucket with a small shovel full.

Buddy Bee might have added a few more pieces himself.
Don't tell him but I took them back out when he was not looking.
If his bucket weighed more than he does, he would never get to carry it back to the house.

Buddy Bee was satisfied that he had enough in his bucket so he helped Daddy fill the bigger buckets.

For a little boy the coal pile is a wondrous thing....it's a huge pile of rocks to throw!

Buddy Bee hauling his coal back to the house.  He was on a mission and nothing was stopping him.

With some help from Daddy, Buddy Bee dumping coal in our bin.
It's a sweet sight to watch my little boy grow up and a even sweeter one watching my boys work together.
There will be many trips to the coal pile for Buddy Bee as he grows up and maybe one day I will write about Buddy Bee's solo trip hauling coal.
