Buddy Bee's Easter Basket

I was so excited to create a basket full of Easter goodies for the Bee this year.
This would be Buddy Bee's first Easter basket since last year his Easter gift was an outdoor swing.  I had been collecting little goodies for his basket for about a month and had been safetly storing it in our guest room.  I had been dying to put it all together and give it to the Bee but I waited until the Saturday night before Easter.

Buddy Bee's Easter basket.

Some special Easter eggs filled with goldfish, yogurt covered raisins, and a few M&M's.

Buddy Bee's basket was filling up with some special goodies.

Buddy Bee's finished Easter basket...a bit overflowing.

What's in Buddy Bee's Easter basket;
Garden tools, duck mask, pinwheel, Curious George shirt and movie, bubble bucket, Thomas The Tank sunglasses, colored pencils, 2 sets of kids CD's, books, new sippy cup, bath boat, and a microphone.

After Buddy Bee's afternoon nap we had his basket all ready for the boy to dig right in.

Buddy Bee found the garden tools first.

It wasn't long before he found the Bubble bucket and wanted to blow bubble's with Daddy.

Buddy Bee was so excited that "GO" was on his new shirt!

He kept coming back to look at "GO"....he loves that shirt.

He soon found his new mic and was soon singing us a song.

He thought it was so funny to run between Andrew and I  to have us each talk through his microphone.

The best gifts are always the inexpensive ones!

More bubbles for the Buddy Bee!

He found his M&M's.

To the Buddy Bee nothing, not even chocolate, can compare to bubbles!

Buddy Bee needed an opportunity to enjoy all of his new goodies so we headed outside to blow bubbles.

You can just tell our little Bee was not feeling the best.

Watching Daddy walk to the shed.

You can't see them but there were Buddy Bee tears for his Daddy.

Daddy quickly returned and Buddy Bee settled in for some bubble blowing with Daddy.

While Buddy Bee was running around blowing/eating bubbles I took an opportunity for a picture with my hubby.

He can't resist ruining pictures...

...but at least he told me what he did so we could take another one.

Buddy Bee enjoying the sunshine and his bubbles.

Buddy Bee exploring his yard.

We are working on teaching the Bee to come back when we call him but it does not always go well.
We will get there.

The perfect container for Buddy Bee's Easter goodies was his Easter bucket from Meemaw.

What a perfect way to end our Easter Sunday.
Every Sunday needs to end with time spent with family, sunshine, a happy little boy, exploration, and lots of bubbles!
