Happy Valentine's Day from Buddy Bee and his Mama.
On this Valentine's Day, I am so thankful for my little Buddy Bee. His hugs and kisses give me so much comfort while missing my love.
I had a great dinner planned for the Bee and myself.
Homemade crab cakes,
asparagus,
and spinach mashed potatoes were on the menu!
I even got a special card made by the Buddy Bee at school.
Buddy Bee's new truck shoes even came tonight.
They don't fit yet, but someone is in love!
It's the simple things that make Buddy Bee so happy.
Buddy Bee and his new shoes were soon off to bed. I settled in for a quiet and simple evening until I could chat via instant messenger with my Valentine.
Kiwi and strawberries for dessert.
I wish, so very much, that my husband could be here to share this with me.
The next morning the Buddy Bee and I took a trip to Buddy Bee’s doctor and after returning home we spent the afternoon celebrating Valentine's Day with Andrew.
Buddy Bee loved his new bowling set from his Daddy.
With some help from Mommy the pins were soon set up for the first try.
Buddy Bee waiting from Daddy to return back to his chair.
These boys of mine will always have my heart.
Of course he had to try to see if he fit in the box.
This is the second year I asked for mini rose bushes instead of cut flowers for Valentine's Day. I will be enjoying these 3 special rose brushes for several months before I transplant them outside in my garden. Then I will get to enjoy them for many more years.
I will always cherish my special Valentine's Day roses from my boys. Every time I look at them in my garden, I will think of my two boys. This Valentines may not have been a typical one but it is one I will always remember. This is the second Valentine's Day I have spent alone while my husband was deployed.
